1. Licensed persons only
Firearms and ammunition are supplied only to persons who hold a valid licence issued by the competent authority in Pakistan for the category of weapon concerned, and only to the extent that licence permits. No firearm is reserved, sold, transferred or delivered until we have verified the licence and the identity of the licence holder in person or through the documents we request.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, and older where the licence category requires it.
- You must not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under any law or court order.
- Where a purchase is made on behalf of an organisation, the organisation’s authorisation and the licence or permit under which it may hold the weapon must be produced.
- Delivery is made only within Pakistan, only to the licence holder or a person the licence and the law permit to receive the weapon, and only by a method the law allows.
3. Records and reporting
We keep the records of every sale and transfer that the arms laws of Pakistan require and provide them to the licensing authority or law-enforcement agencies when lawfully requested. Your details are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Hunting tours and permits
Hunting tours depend on permits, quotas and seasons set by the relevant provincial and territorial wildlife departments and, for community-managed areas, by the local conservancy. We assist with the application, but the permit is issued to the hunter, and the hunt may be cancelled or moved if a permit is refused, withdrawn or delayed. Only the species, numbers and areas on the permit may be hunted.
5. Safety and assumption of risk
Shooting, range training and hunting in mountainous or remote terrain involve inherent risks, including injury and death, that cannot be eliminated by care and skill. By taking part you confirm that you understand and accept those risks, that you are medically fit for the activity, that you will follow every safety instruction given, and that you will handle every weapon as loaded at all times. We may remove from an activity, without refund, anyone whose conduct endangers others.
6. Information on this site
The Field Journal, product descriptions and service pages are general information drawn from the General’s experience. They are not legal advice on licensing, not safety instruction for a particular weapon, and not a recommendation for a particular use. Always follow the law, the licence conditions and the manufacturer’s manual.
7. Export and re-sale
Nothing on this site is an offer to export firearms, ammunition or controlled components from Pakistan. Any onward sale or transfer by a purchaser must comply with the arms laws and the conditions of the purchaser’s licence.
8. No liability for misuse
We are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from the unlawful, negligent or improper possession or use of a weapon we have supplied or appraised, or from the use of information on this site contrary to this statement.
9. Reporting a concern
